Kaltostat Fortex Calcium Alginate Dressing is a soft, sterile, alginate dressing that converts to a firm gel on contact with fluid. It may be used on moderate to heavily exuding wounds chronic and acute wounds. Best used for Stage II and IV pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and traumatic wounds.
